Platform Designed for Silicon Validation and Diagnostics
The V550 Validation and Diagnostic Platform is part of a system that integrates design, test, and diagnostic environments leading to rapid detection and repair of failures. The desktop platform features 512 pins configurable as data or clock; a 100-MHz scan rate; and memory capacity of 128 million vector drive/compare per pin, 40 million vector capture memory per pin, and 16 million vector failure capture per pin.
The V550 is driven by the company’s Workbench™ Software to allow design and DFT engineers to quickly validate initial silicon with their test programs. It also works with the Diagnostic Manager (DM) suite of software tools: ScanXY, CellXY, and SecureXY. The DM tools link logical test mismatch data to the physical domain for rapid identification of defects and hot spots.
