Synchronized Module Analyzes Noise and Vibration
The DT9837A USB Module features four simultaneous 24-bit Delta-Sigma A/Ds with support for IEPE inputs including a 4-mA current source and AC or DC sampling. A tachometer input function in the A/D data stream synchronizes measurements with two modes: rotation speed and tachometer pulse phase with a resolution of 37 ns or 0.002-degree resolution at a rotation speed of 10,000 rpm.
A read-back channel from the analog output correlates signals with the input stream, the output stream, and the tachometer. Programmable sampling rates are 195 Hz to 52.7 kHz; the programmable analog threshold trigger is 0.2 V to 9.8 V. The module ships with a software applet that supports basic operation and can be modified for capabilities using the company’s Measure Foundry® software.
