Front End Syncs Data, GPS, and Video Inputs

The DEWE-43-V is a USB 2.0 data acquisition front end with eight 24-b simultaneously sampled channels and a 200-kHz sample rate per channel. It features eight counter inputs that are synchronous with the analog inputs. In addition, a GPS sensor and a video camera can be plugged in and recorded in sync with the data.

Each channel handles voltage up to ±10 V as well as full bridge strain gage inputs. MSI adapters can convert the channels to a different input type including IEPE accelerometer inputs, 200-V inputs, RTDs, and thermocouples. The unit also has built-in anti-aliasing filters and includes DEWESoft 6.6 and DEWESoft 7. Two high-speed CAN bus inputs record hundreds of channels from CAN, J1939, and the OBD II CAN interface.
