Generators Provide Signals From 100 kHz to 50 GHz
The new 2500B Series of microwave signal generators provides fast switching with high purity signals from 100 kHz to 50 GHz. Six models are available that cover 2.5 GHz, 8 GHz, 20 GHz, 26.5 GHz, 40 GHz, and 50 GHz.
The company’s patented Accumulator High Frequency Feedback (AHFF™) technology delivers a switching speed typically <500 µs for a 1-GHz step and as fast as 100 µs for small steps. The close to carrier phase noise achieves -90 dBc/Hz @ 100 Hz and -102 dBc/Hz @ 1 kHz offset on a 10-GHz carrier frequency.
The generator noise performance at 10 kHz offset is a typical -110 dBc/Hz. Output power is +13 dBm at 50 GHz without optional high power versions.
